The FIELD INVESTIGATOR (FI) app saves manhours in many significant ways. It eliminates the need for laborious and time consuming report writing by allowing officers to attach evidence data files to reports. FI gives an officer the freedom to capture evidence at anytime (with or without a data connection) and automatically uploads files when a data connection is detected. Because FI automatically encrypts and uploads in the background, the officer is freed from thinking about how to get evidence off the phone and then spending time doing it. With FI, evidence is protected from any/all damage, because it does not remain on the phone, but is uploaded to a secure server, making it available immediately for review and/or downloading. 

The management console of FIELD INVESTIGATOR gives senior management control over field component usage and integrates with LETS suite of covert products, allowing the system to “grow” with the officer as he/she moves up the chain of command. 

FI offers a plethora of investigative calling features including burner numbers and spoof calling. Its recording/listening features notify crisis and hostage negotiators of first-responder’s interaction giving them full situational appraisal while en route. FI eliminates the expense of needing and maintaining video and additional cameras, tape recorders, tablets and other field devices.
